My husband told me about a site he heard about called ETSY....for hand made and vintage only. I looked, I liked, I decided to try and conquer! I haven't exactly conquered..........but here's a part of my story.

I became a watercolor fan in high school art class and it stayed with me. I went to college, worked and now I paint.

All of my paintings are one of a kind, originals. I do not reproduce my work or sell prints of any kind. If you buy a painting it is the only one there will be. To me it is the satisfaction of getting my ideas to come to life. Then I am ready to move on to the next inspiration. That is why you will find landscapes, still life, figurative and abstracts or a collaboration of them all. It is the most fun I have in my day, time slips away and I find myself in another realm!

Back to how I paint....My newest love is Alcohol Inks, the colors and the technique I use makes for an exciting result!! I also love oils, watercolor and acrylics depending upon the subject. Color is a big part of the painting experience for me, just put down some color and see what develops. Sometimes I'll think I'm going in one direction and the color moves me in another. Objects sometimes just jump off the canvas right to me! Other times I have a definite idea in mind, but I'm always open for a surprise at the end..........
