"There were Angels dining at the Ritz, ... And a mockingbird sang in Berkeley Square" ... Vera Lynn was the voice for a generation of sweethearts in WW II, and this was the signature song. Two Angels. One 'sauntered vaguely downward', One who cherishes his adopted home. "To The World!" ... be yourself, I have never seen such a beautifully rendered piece express such perfect character, and capture a friendship that has survived to the of world and beyond. These prints are exquisite.

I do not think the word exists to say how positively beautiful this piece was designed, laid out, and so perfectly rendered. I have loved this book since its publication, as a writer and through a very long-time artist friend, I have met Neil Gaiman here and there, and could not believe how brilliantly these two amazing actors caught these characters. The only word then, must be, 'ineffable' - unspeakable, simply doesn't exist. I run on mad, burning hate, wear black and love vintage cars (and once DID work in a bookshop). My long-time partner goes back decades, is kindness itself, loves High Tea, and DRIVES MY CAR (!) -- This artist is astonishing, we're trying to hang them somewhere near the wine. Captured perfectly ... "To The World".
