Handmade for Everyone

I began my small business, selling hand-cut greeting cards on Etsy, in 2012. As my business grew, I decided I needed to revisit how and what I was creating. After considering my customers, and the quantity of cards I was producing, I opted to find a small laser-cutting company to cut my cards. This allowed me to expand my product line and focus more on creating original art and hand-bound notebooks.

I still enjoy designing new cards to add to my greeting cards, assembling them, and writing handwritten messages on the inside, but I will tell you, my hands thank me for the decision to use a laser cutter.

I try to keep my cards minimal and modern; that's what makes them POP.

The artwork for sale on Etsy is mostly small-scale watercolor and mixed media work. I work smaller because I want my pieces to be affordable. I believe art should be able to be owned and enjoyed by everyone. My work focuses on the natural world, abstracted. My intent is to invoke a sense of my own feelings of peace and joy that I have when I am in nature, whether it be in my gardens (I am a crazy plant lady), or in the woods.
