Announcement
After a rather long hiatus, which involved some very drastic life changes, I have decide to get back on the horse. I hope in my life altered state I can bring more to my paintings than before and that each will tell a story and maybe strike a cord in others.
I am so happy to be back here on Etsy reaching out to a world wide audience of art lovers and collectors. I have been painting and drawing for my entire life, which is about 55 years so far.
I love to watch the spread and stain of water color on fine paper and I enjoy layering rich layers of oil paint onto stretched canvas. For me the best part of being a painter, is the challenge each work brings to me as I execute its composition, control the brush's strokes as it makes its way across the canvas and layer the colors to make that final effect
I have been painting for over thirty years and have been recognized by Hilton Head SC Art League as one of the top 100 artists in the US in 2008 at their annual exhibit at the Walter Greer Gallery in Hilton Head, SC. I have also been recognized by the US Postal History Society in Tucson Arizona in 2007 and New York Metropolitan Art Online Art Exhibition in 2010 and most recently have received Honorable Mention for Artist International Online Art Magazine Exhibition 2013. I plan to continue to exhibit in national competitions.
