What is the difference between the paper choices?
Choosing the best finish for your print is really a matter of your personal preference.
Both papers provide vivid color reproduction and capture the rich details and brushwork of the original oil painting.
Both print options use archival quality materials, giving you a lifetime of glorious lasting color.
The price difference is due to the different production costs between the two print options.
* GLOSSY PHOTO prints use Noritsu photographic paper and ink. They have a slick glossy feel of a traditional photo.
* MATTE ARCHIVAL prints use Somerset Velvet, acid free 100% cotton rag paper. They have a matte finish with the soft velvety feel of a heavyweight hot press watercolor paper.
What printer & ink do you use?
Both options use professional quality inkjet printers.
* GLOSSY PHOTO prints are printed on the Noritsu Green II.
* MATTE ARCHIVAL prints use a Epson Stylus Pro 9900 printers, with Epson Ultrachrome HDR pigment inks.
How big will the print be?
* GLOSSY PHOTO art prints come on these sizes of paper:
4x4 inch image will print on 5x5 inch paper
5x5 inch image on 8x8 inch paper
6x6 inch image on 8x8inch paper
8x8 inch image on 10x10 inch paper
10x10 inch image on 12x12 inch paper
3x5 inch image will print on 4x6 inch paper
4x6 inch image on 5x7 inch paper
5x7 inch image on 8x10 inch paper
8x10 inch image on 10x13 inch paper
9x12 inch image on 11x14 inch paper
11x14 inch image on 12x18 inch paper
* MATTE ARCHIVAL prints have a 1 inch white border around the image, adding 2 inches to the size of the image you order.
Can I get a print without a border?
For exact sized images printed edge to edge, I can order them cut to size for you.

Why do I need a border on my art print?
If you are framing with a window mat, it is much easier to position and fasten the print behind the mat if there is a little extra margin to work with. A window for an 8x10" print is sized at 7.5 x 9.5", leaving very little room for error if the print is cut to 8x10" exactly.
With a border there is more room for you to attach the tape behind the mat. The framing job will be less fiddly and there will be no danger that your print will end up falling through the hole. If you choose not to DIY the framing, then your framer will thank you too!
How will my art be packaged?
ORIGINAL PAINTINGS are unframed unless the listing states otherwise.
Unframed paintings will be carefully wrapped in glassine paper, bubble wrap & tissue, then packed in sturdy gift boxes. With a little ribbon added, they are all ready for giving.
ART PRINTS will arrive flat and wrapped in recycled paper in a sturdy cardboard mailer or skinny cardboard box.
CANVAS PRINTS will be wrapped in a thin plastic bag and shipped in a cardboard box.
ART CARDS will arrive folded. Each set of 10 will be wrapped in a cellophane sleeve.
Where are the prints made?
All art cards and art prints are printed in the USA.
Canvas Prints are made in USA, UK and Canada. Your art will be made and shipped from the production center closest to you.
Will all my items arrived together?
Prints, canvas, cards and original paintings are shipped from different locations in the US. If your order contains different products, they will arrive in separate parcels.
I will send tracking for each part of your order.
All items of the same kind will arrive together.
