I grew up on a small farm in Georgia. So that had a major influence for my love of animals. We had a bunch of horses and I was almost never bored as a kid because I could just saddle up and ride away down the dirt road or through the woods with my black lab.

Having over come some obstacles in life, like Tourettes syndrome, I eventually graduated high school then went on to college where I earned my BFA in Illustration. Proud day that was!

I started my Etsy shop a few years ago but never really put any effort into it. Now that I have gained a small collection of finished works I thought I'd give Etsy a serious try. So here I am. Hope you enjoy my store.

I hand draw, personally craft all of my drawings and paintings. I have an extensive process that I use. I locate or photograph a reference to use. Then I create an outline sketch, rework that sketch several times until it is the way I want it to look. Then I either choose a medium like Prismacolor, color pencil or acrylic paints or watercolor paint and ink to render the paintings. I also use graphite pencil for my black and white pieces.

This past year I took an art course from Shelee Currthers and learned how to make abstract acrylic paint art blooms. I paint on ceramic tiles to make coasters and art boards. I have also recently learned how to make art with resin and create ocean sea scape paintings using resin and sea shells, start fish, crystals and lots shimmery pigments and glitter.
