An iron wire and a stone may not be just an iron wire and a stone. Walking on the beach, holding them in their hands, they turned into an object. The first of many.
I decided that beauty is hidden everywhere, that the magic thing is to pull it out of what the chic call "recycled material", and all the other garbage. In the age of technology I thought of them, computers, as the main source of raw material: I open them, I unpack them, I unpack them, to transform them into beautiful, unique, special jewels.
What do I like about working with recycled material? That it has a soul, which is something that has been used, lived, wanted and then thrown away. Maybe it will no longer have a future as a PC, but in my small workshop it can be born again.
Changing the nature of things also makes you understand that we throw away very easily, that we pollute without thinking, that we are not attentive to what a simple gesture such as abandoning material near the bins, can mean.
We must be more responsible, if not for ourselves at least for the world to come.
My jewels are this: love for craftsmanship, creation and, above all, love for that Nature that we can still help to improve
