I taught myself to sew after the birth of my daughter in October 2010 and after receiving compliments for the unique clothing that I was making for her decided to open my Etsy shop in early 2012.

From start to finish I am the sole person involved in the creation of the clothing - from sourcing interesting fabrics from around the globe, to washing the fabric, then cutting and finally the actual sewing. It really is a labour of love and I love every minute.

I work in a law office during the day and make my clothing in the evenings after my daughter is in bed and with any free time I get on the weekend, sometimes I can think of not much else and long for more time to create my pieces.

I absolutely love handmade items (especially clothing) and get great joy from being able to see my ideas come to fruition.

I feel that handmade clothing has a real value, you can appreciate that each stitch has been made with someone's thought and time. It also enables and encourages a sense of individuality for its wearer.

If I could, I would gladly spend the rest of my days sewing beautiful clothes for girls and boys.
