When I was about 8 years old I learned to make a gathered skirt for my doll, and thus, my love for sewing began. I have sewn ever since.

In 2011 when the economy was not doing well, I saw a piece on Good Morning America, about Etsy, somewhere to showcase your talents, and sell what you love to do. The thought of working from home, and making alittle extra money, made me so excited, that I went right to the computer and dove in. It has been so fun meeting people from all over the world, sharing moments, and most of all, sharing my love of sewing with them.

I had just received a Kindle Fire, for mother's day, and needed a case for it. I made one, alittle different than what I had been seeing, and thought, what fun it would be to make them and sell them on Etsy. The feedback, and response has been great. I have since added brag book photo albums and knitting project bags. I still kept my regular job, just went to part time, and now I spend more time at home, sewing, doing what I love, than driving to work. What could be better? I LOVE IT
