When I retired, I bought a new sewing machine and a serger and signed up for every class in the book. What fun. I tried many projects, sewed a variety of items, but none caught my fancy. A friend asked if I might make a series of black placemats of flower photos embossed with machine embroidery. These were the favorite flowers in his garden here in Austin, mostly.

Another friend asked if I might make a pillow with a photo of her son's dogs. Of course I could.. One thing led to another and now I've done many dozens of cats and dogs from all over the country, and even abroad. An 'equal pet' producer, I even did a pot bellied pig but it had to be a wall hanging so the little pig wouldn't eat it. Each is photoshopped, printed on fine linen, quilted, embroidered where appropriate, and some even touched up with ink.

My next project will be couch pillows with any one of my somewhat philosophical sayings printed and quilted on white linen. Some, like my 'Baby Room' pillows saying Shhh in pink or blue (or black) may be edge-embroidered for emphasis. Coming soon...

I also offer a variety of sometimes pricy little Vintage Treasures. Vintage items seem to do well, so new ones are added periodically.
