My name is Liat, 33 years old, I'm married to Ofir and a mother of 2 little boys Adam and Michael.
I'm the owner, a designer and the goldsmith of LIAT GILAD jewelry.
My designs are classic fine jewelry, with a modern twist, that is ideal for brides, bridesmaids and any modern, sophisticated woman.
They are versatile and easy to combine with any day or night wear.
My expertise is in fine 18k gold and unique gemstone jewelry.
I studied Jewelry Design at Shenkar College for four years, and after graduating, I designed and created my own fashion jewelry line from textiles and silversmiths.
During that time, I began to design custom orders in gold – where I discovered my deepest passion- Gold.
I always wanted to work with the raw material; I find this substance magical, not biodegradable or destroyed with time.
I began to explore and design it and to revive what I had in my vision.
My goal is to create timeless pieces that will become keepsakes which are passed along from generation to generation.
I believe that a jewel has to come from an energetic wellbeing source, I pass my energies to the jewel while creating.
My inspiration is diverse, from a pastoral childhood in the Moshav - a small agricultural village - with my authentic family, characterized by colorful abundance and joy.
I have a collection called 'Healing Bling', a collection inspired by the belief that natural gemstones have a healing capacity and power, as well as an energetic intelligence that can improve life situations. The jewels were designed out of the stones. I looked for a gemstone that "called" me and was the most attractive to me – and used her for my design.

Another collection is 'Memory Mark' - 18k yellow gold collection, diamonds, and small gemstones, inspired by the warm and authentic atmosphere of my family. It's characterized by shapes that symbolize abundance and beauty, and are integrated into impressive geometric shapes. The collection was created by hand engraving, with a clean and simple design with ethnic touches. The collection is floral and blooming, yet elegant and classic, reminiscent of authentic jewelry from my grandmother's house.
'Together Forever' is a collection of 18 karat gold and diamonds, which allows you to personally engrave the names of a couple, your children, special dates, positive and inspiring statements, etc. Liat created the collection after the birth of her son, in order to perpetuate the experience and keeping that memory of her children is constantly with her. In the future, she can pass on the jewelry to them as a legacy.
'Classic Forever' - An 18k yellow gold necklace designed to honor classic elements such as pearls and diamonds and to design them as temporary jewelry with a modern touch.
'Crazy Diamond' – The last collection is featuring an 18k yellow gold and diamonds collection, which includes celestial elements and is characterized by delicate diamond glitter embedded in the shapes of a moon of stars
My design is contemporary classic derived from my belief that trends come and go and I do not wish to be trendy; however, I have ethnic influences from my family. I make a piece of jewelry that is timeless and it's suitable for a woman today just as it would suit her 40 years ago and in 40 years to come.
I believe that the right jewel has an effect on the entire appearance.
'What you wear is trivial, it's the jewelry you put on that counts'.
Once a woman wears a prestigious piece of jewelry she feels luxurious.
I love exhibitions, fashion, and design in general, and I always get inspired by it, however, I always try to keep my authentic line and I believe in myself and in my way. I believe that once a woman wears a prestigious piece of jewelry she feels luxurious no matter where she is or what she wears.
My dream is to open a studio of my own, (I currently have a studio at home) and that I will have employees working and creating my designs.
I would love to exhibit at world-renowned exhibitions and to sell my jewelry in the most prestigious places globally.
