Welcome to Lilou!

Here you will find beautiful & one-of-a-kind handwoven textiles, as well as exceptional yarns, dyed by hand.

Everything you see is designed and made by me, in a smoke and pet free environment.

All of my yarns are dyed in small batches, with professional grade natural dyes, and occasionally supplemented by professional grade acid dyes.

I always try to make my colours as consistent as possible, but they can vary between batches. Please make sure to buy enough skeins for your project. If you need more than what is listed, please convo me.

Due to the nature of hand dyed yarns, each skein is unique and alternating skeins is recommended for large projects.

Handwash in warm water, with mild detergent (I use Ecover). Although all skeins are carefully rinsed, it is not unusual for yarns to bleed during first few washes, it will not affect the quality of the colours.

I photograph all of my products in natural light and try to represent the true colours to the best of my ability, but please understand that monitors do vary.


MADE TO ORDER

Made to order listings allow you to order the colours you like, whenever you like.

I generally fulfill these orders within 3-4 days. However, if I have an unusually large number of orders, this can take up to 2 weeks.

READY TO SHIP

Ready to ship order are despatched within 2 days, unless it is the weekend or a holiday and my local post office is closed.
