Flat measurements?
Items are laid flat and measured to the fullest fit in inches, then multiplied by 2 (X2).
Example:
A dress is measured on a flat surface, measured in inches from underarm seam to underarm seam, X2 for the bust size. The same for waist and hips.
Length is from where shoulder seam and collar seam meet, then measured straight down to the bottom, this gives length measurement.
Sleeve length is measured from the outside (top edge, not underarm) of shoulder seam to the cuff.
