Care instructions
Most of our fabrics have been made by hand, so please treat them with care: Hand wash gently in cool water, separately, with a mild detergent and air dry in the shade; use a warm iron.
Wash your fabric before using it: it was not made in a factory and may have residual dust or dyes on it. Colors may bleed in the first few washes, so always test first!
Indigo-dyed fabrics will continue to lighten over time, just like denim. They are light sensitive, so store them with care.
Please Note: Many handwoven fabrics should not be machine washed or put in the dryer, as they are too delicate for such treatment. In this way we can show our respect for the weavers and other artisans who create such beautiful textiles!
Returns
Although we think you will love our fabric, we are happy to accept returns within 30 days, with a few exceptions. (But why not order a swatch first?)
Fabric must be unused, unwashed, uncut, and in the same condition as when it was sent to you. Only the cost of the fabric will be refunded. No returns on sale fabric, swatches, fabric pieces of less than one yard in length, or fabric not in its original condition.
How to return: send us an email for return instructions, and then ship your package by a trackable method, noting that it must reach us within 30 days of the date of purchase.
No returns accepted for swatches.
Fabric Note
Most of our fabrics are hand made and every yard is slightly different; there may be irregularities in the weave, dye, print, etc. These are not flaws, but reminders that the fabrics were hand-crafted.
Your order will resemble what is shown in the item photo, but not look exactly the same. Because it was not made in a factory, it may have residual dust or dyes on it; please wash before using.
Also, color displays differently on every monitor or device, so if that is a concern, why not order a swatch?
