When I was a little girl, a beloved family friend made me a full wardrobe for my favorite doll. When I opened my gift on Christmas morning, I was enchanted--it is in that spirit that I make my doll's clothes.
I started making miniatures at first because I couldn't stop getting smaller. I soon discovered that there was a whole miniature community-- to find out more about my miniatures, go to my shop blog, a link is at the side.
It is important to me that all of my Sasha Doll clothes have the feel of vintage Mom-made doll's clothing. I love to make my clothing with lots of delicate details, and for my dolls to have dolls, and for my doll's doll to have clothes...they should all match. I am not at all against stuffed animals, dolls should have them too.
My attention to detail spills over to my desire to own every color in every kind of fiber that I love, and I love a lot of things.
