Making mudpies since age 3 🦋
Welcome to my little corner of the Appalachian foothills. I’m Lynn Marie and For over twenty years I've worked with handbuillding clay. Every planter, sculpture, and creation starts as a lump of earth and somehow becomes a personality. Some of them cooperate immediately. Others require negotiations.
Alongside clay, I've also spent more than twenty years growing and working with herbs from my region, making teas, tinctures, salves, and learning from the plants around me. My garden and woods have become some of my oldest teachers.
Several years ago, with determination, coffee, and the generous help of family and good friends, I built my own studio and tiny home tucked into the woods beside a mountain laurel creek. These days I live in what feels a bit like a hidden woodland pocket universe.
Everything I create comes from a life built by hand. My hope is that when one of my pieces finds its way to your home, it carries a little bit of that mountain magic with it.
Thank you for stopping by and spending a little time here. Pull up a mossy stump and stay awhile. Reach out! I’d love to hear from you!
