Since I can remember I have always dreamt of having a little shop...a place I can be creative and free to create and share my passion and hopefully make a living from something I loved...decorating, redoing old furniture, creating collections from decorative repurposed items
I am a South African girl who comes from a small town and through my passion was able to further a career in Visuals...through fashion and window implementation...it moved me to a bigger centre in South Africa and opened me to a new world of creative people...I will be forever grateful for what it taught me in life and the experience it has provided me with....
I then decided to relocate to France for love and leave my career behind....
As soon as I got to France I was mesmorized by the beauty of the old treasures.....from the unbelievable hand carved furniture, ornate elaborate mirrors, dripping crystal chandeliers to the unbelievable silverware, linen....everything was so perfectly created, such attention to detail, such a celebration of beauty....unbelievable authentic old beauty I had never experienced before...it did not take long until I was exploring the markets, doing workshops in upholstery, paint techniques even soap making....and soon my little shop was born just from the pure passion of all things decor...years later I still continue....with many things changing in my life including being a Mom to the best little guy you could ever imagine!!!
So today my focus has slightly changed to creating a better future for my son and I in France and hopefully building my little shop into bigger, brighter things....and I hope with your support it will be possible...
