What began as unique gifts just for my friends and family bloomed into an opportunity for me to share my love of nature and the whimsical side of life with others. So often I heard people insisting, "You should open a shop of your own!" that one day I finally decided to take a chance and offered a few of my keepsake boxes and seashell crafts for sale in my daughter's boho-influenced store. They were a hit! It gave me the confidence and the chance to devote my time to the art I love so dearly. I imagine myself on a warm Sunday afternoon gazing through my window into a world where faeries, gardens grow, happy animals frolick, and the best pleasures in life are the ones granted to us by the Earth. This was the essence of Meggie's Window.

Now, my window includes The Rescue Garden- a small animal rescue specialising in guinea pigs, rats, and mice. Proceeds from the sale of all items in the shop provide financial support for me to continue my work in rescuing and re-homing these delightful creatures, as well as providing advice and education on their care and keeping.

For me, it's the best of both worlds- nature and art.
