I have been drawing since I was old enough to pick up a pencil. As a child, I drew incessantly, but as I grew into adulthood I put it aside for the most part, getting sidetracked with "real life". In September of 2015, I lost my job, and the silver lining has been that I have returned to the drawing board...with a vengeance!

I was born in Victoria, BC, Canada, and grew up in the Yukon Territory. Over the years I have migrated South and East, having lived in Ontario, Michigan, Rhode Island, and Virginia. Now, I have finally returned home to the Yukon!

My art is inspired by many different things. As with all aspects of my life, I am interested in a wide variety of things, and this influences my art. Hence the name "Merlee's Moods", as it truly is based on mood at the time :)

Since moving back to the Yukon, I have opened up this second Etsy store that is specifically for my Canadian customers. This way, you can enjoy my art at prices that are not automatically changed from US dollars, and shipping is in Canada. Some products are still only available in my US store, as that is where they are produced. Once I find Canadian printers, I will also list those here. My US store is at
