Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders
Yes, we accept custom and personalized order. It typically takes us 7 to 10 working days to complete a custom order.
When a custom order is requested, we will send the client a proof for approval. Once size and color, etc. have been approved, only then will we create a custom listing regarding payment.
Sizing details
We do accept custom sizing for our shop item. Everything can be made larger, however, there are some items that due to the detail cannot be made smaller.
If you are interested in a larger size, please contact us with either the height or width size you are interested in.
Patina colors are not always available in an up-size item due to the difficulty in making a very large item uniform. Contact us for more information.
Care instructions
We made art pieces. None of our items should be considered toys and are to be displayed as such.
An item that can displayed both indoors or outside have been marked as such on each listing.
Patina items are not recommended for outdoor display in direct sunlight as it may cause the colors to fade over long exposure.
Trailer hitch covers should be removed during the winter months where de-icing products are used on road ways in your area. These chemicals will cause damage to your cover and will lead to rusting.
Gift wrapping and packaging
Metalhead Art & Design, LLC does not offer gift wrapping. All of our items are wrapped in foam and packed in the appropriate size boxes containing starch packing peanuts.
These peanuts can be dissolved in water and are not harmful to animals.
Wholesale availability
Metalhead Art & Design, LLC does offer discounts or wholesale pricing for large quantities. Minimum orders do apply. Contact us for more information.
At Metalhead Art & Design, LLC we love custom work.
If you are interested in a custom order, please provide us with a picture, drawing, or a detailed description as well as the size and color you are interested in. This way we have a starting point.
We provide the first proof at no charge. If major changes to that proof are needed we charge $25 an hours moving forward for that project.
We do NOT recreate copyrighted images or images taken from another shop. So be creative!
