About Mima Mounds:

Our beeswax comes from a location where a very unique geological phenomena can be seen.

Our honey farm sits near capital state forest and very near to the Mima Mounds natural area preserve in Thurston County, Washington.

The phenomena of the mounds are unexplained. They have said to be supernatural, or a result of long ice age is melting, or perhaps unusual habits of gophers building upwards!

Whatever the case is, the most extraordinary of honey comes from this area (yes, perhaps I’m jaded from childhood). It was a natural progression to take the next step and use the premium quality beeswax from our Mima Farms to create a wonderful Bee Balm for you.
