Custom and personalized orders

I want you to be happy with your purchase!

By nature, a “custom” item is created with a particular person in mind. It would be very difficult to find someone who wanted the same item made in the same way. For this reason, custom items are non-refundable.

Please be aware when purchasing an item, that you are agreeing to the details as outlined in the listing as well as the terms outlined in the policies. If the listing details aren’t what you want to purchase, contact me before making the purchase.

In most cases, we are only able to make changes within 24 hours of the time the order was placed.

If you are not satisfied with any item you receive, please contact me within 3 days of receiving your order.

Sizing details

For custom cushions, arm rests or ottoman cushions, we make the items according to the measurements you give at the time of purchase. It is your responsibility to correctly measure for the cushions, arm rests or ottoman cushions. I am not able to determine size from a picture of a chair. Let me know if the ties need to be in a special location for your chair. I’m happy to make slight adjustments to accommodate your chair if you notify me BEFORE sewing begins. We are not able to make changes 24 hours after the order is placed. If you want to have alterations made after the sewing is complete, return shipping will be your responsibility and an alterations fee will be assessed.
We have a +/- 1/2” allowance for size discrepancy.

Care instructions

WHAT ARE THE WASHING/CARE INSTRUCTIONS? Glider/Rocker Cushions- Spot cleaning would be the first line of defense. However, if necessary, the cushions can be washed according to reports I’ve received from customers. They would need to be washed on the gentle cycle with cold water. Lay flat to dry. In some cases, the covers can be removed from the foam cushions and laundered as above. Please be aware that we are not responsible for problems due to washing.

Colors

A Note About COLORS: Fabric swatches on a computer screen can sometimes be different than the color in real life. For this reason, if you are trying to match fabrics with paint colors or items in the room where color is critical, we strongly encourage you to purchase a swatch of the fabrics you are considering. Unfortunately, I am unable to accept returns due to color discrepancies.

Shipping and packaging

Shipping
I ship using FedEx and USPS Priority Mail. If you live in AK or HI, or if the actual shipping charges are much higher than you were charged, I will contact you for additional shipping payment. I am responsible for the package until it leaves my possession. If you would like to purchase insurance to cover it after that, let me know when you place your order. I am not responsible for packages that are lost due to an incorrect shipping address. Please be aware that an incorrect address on file AT THE TIME OF YOUR PURCHASE may delay your order or cause additional shipping fees. If you need to change your address, PLEASE do it BEFORE you make a purchase.

Custom and personalized orders

**WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER? Turnaround varies slightly, but in most cases, it’s 8-10 weeks. The turnaround time is from the time of payment until shipping. I’m in Tennessee, so depending on where you live, shipping may take from 2 days (East Coast) to a week (West Coast).

**CAN I SEND YOU MY OWN FABRICS? We are not using fabrics other than the ones offered in our shop at this time.

** DO YOU SEND SWATCHES? Yes, you may purchase a swatch from our shop. See the front page under "Indoor Fabric Choices".

** BEST WAY TO CONTACT YOU? Please use the Etsy contact button. Note that we are away on weekends, evenings and major holidays and will respond when we return.
