In 2000, I visited Europe and saw some of the most exquisite stained glass I've ever seen. When I returned home to little old Baton Rouge, Louisiana, I decided to take a stained glass course. It was over several weeks and I managed to crank out a stained glass tulip (to remind me of my days in Holland). Over the next few months, I started just free styling swirls and scrolls until I came up with a few designs. Everyone loved them and I started a small business and sold to a few stores. By my standards, I did pretty well but kept my day job in sales.

Several years later, in 2003, I had my son, Thomas. I spent several years home with him and tried working off and on but found that I missed being a Mom during the day. I decided to pull him out of daycare right before Kindergarten and I've been a Work at Home Mom ever since.

I find stained glass and my other crafts nurture my creativity and best of all I get to volunteer at school, have holidays off and create my own destiny.

I love creating so much that the only problems are finding the money to pay for my hobbies/job and finding the time to complete projects.

My house looks like a bomb went off in it most days but it's filled with love....
