When you are interested in so many topics and your mind is of a curious nature you get yourself into a lot of often life changing situations. Such is the story of my path to My Other Mind.

I've been an executive in broadcasting, decorated model homes and shoveled stalls on a horse farm in Kentucky. I've designed houses, neighborhoods, television commercials and kitchens. They have all been my favorite job.

I've always done what there was to do and jobs have always found me. When you can never been decide what you want to be when you grow up you are more than willing to try something new!

Before careers and jobs, I was an artist, a hunter, a gatherer and these versions of me have always been the constant me. No matter the many moves, the many careers or jobs - I'm a doer. I love the satisfaction of making, painting, fixing, finding, and making things pretty. At the end of each day the sense of accomplishment that comes with having something to show for my day's work is my reward.

I married a suit over 30 years ago but I have always been the paint it purple girl. So whether it's shooting a picture I love or coming home filthy from digging for ultimate treasures, this is who I am. MyOtherMind is what I love to do and my favorite job.

It is my truest me.
