Traveling lets us see some wild and amazing places, but there's nothing like the coziness of your own hometown.

We move around so much these days that our lives end up a medley of places; some special, some forgettable, but all part of a story. I love the way maps illustrate those stories and instill a yearning for different tales and unknown roads. Whether the map looks like an old friend or whispers of adventures to come, they invite us to go places, explore.

My shop was born after a fruitless search for an embroidered map that no one was making. Perhaps, I thought, other people were looking as well.
