I Love Everything Vintage!

I love everything vintage!!! I am a vintage fabric collector! I love to sew-my grandmother and mother taught me to sew when I was 4! Every season change my mom would take me to the store to pick out fabric and patterns to make new clothes -she made all my clothes and I would always help her. In my teenage years (the 70's) I would make one of a kind crop tops and all my bathing suits, but mostly wore band concert t-shirts and Levi's (frayed and cut-off)!

About 25 years ago I started thrifting. I had 4 children - it was economical and earth friendly for us to thrift-we would buy, use and re-donate. We mostly shopped at charity thrift stores (was there any other kind?) Back in the day- donated items sold in thrift stores put money back into our community-the shelves were always packed to the rim and sold at reasonable prices! I still love thrifting, although I occasionally go to estate sales.

My passion is vintage fabric - I am always on the hunt for it! I have convinced myself that I need to have a piece of all of it-because when it's gone there will be no more!

The items in my shop are all memories of my life experiences- I only pick items I know about-Either I had it or someone close to me growing up had it.

Happy to say - I am vintage therefore my shop is vintage.
