Lyrical Jewelry inspired by nature, designed with heart, and made with love for all of life's amazing moments.

Like music and painting. I find a lyricism to making jewelry - there's a structure and inspiration, like composing. I believe the gifts we give create a special story. I hold that belief close to my heart with every piece I'm making.

I was born in South Korea. Our family moved to Massachusetts when I was 12. There, I discovered a love for oil painting. I majored in Design at the Pratt Institute. With the help and encouragement of my friends, ran my own Textile Design Studio in New York City. After the birth of my son, I focused on being a mom. When he was a toddler, I started creating little jewelry pieces for fun. That grew into a hobby, making gifts for family and friends. But it soon became my passion and creative life and the beginning of Ohsella.

Looking back, I'll be honest with you - my first pieces were horrible! But I never gave up! It never occurred to me to quit! My love of creating motivated me to keep working. Each creation became a little better, more refined, more personal.

I'm a passionate perfectionist. I meticulously handpick all my gemstones. I carefully study each gem - for it's shape, color, texture, and highest quality. I love the relationship between the stone and the metal. I draw inspiration from how these elements of nature work together in ever surprising ways. Every creation is a mystery waiting to be solved.

When I'm not with my son or creating new pieces, I'm a singer. I love the experience of sharing yourself with your audience - it's so intimate and honest. I feel the same way when I'm designing each new piece of jewelry.

Whether it's a treat for yourself or a gift to one you love, my wish that these creation bring you as much joy as I had in creating them!
