Old Sewl Vintage started as just an idea years ago.

I was the girl in high school who wore thrift shop clothes, crazy fashion combinations that made people look twice. I spent a lot of time in antique stores, looking at the amazing items and day dreaming about what life was like for the people who used these old things so long ago.
I sure have toned the fashion down as I've gotten older, but I haven't grown tired of the hunt for that something special among the dusty shelves.

Old Sewl came from desire to get these amazing objects from the past that have been hiding in a corner on a shelf in a little shop, and thrust them back out into the world. On to be loved again, on to be treasured and enjoyed by you!
I prefer older items as they were created with care and have history and soul.

Some of my items are handmade by me in my small home studio. I love creating! I attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
My biggest art influences are Edward Gorey and Louis Wain. My art usually has a bit of humor to it, and almost always involves animals as the subject. If a piece I create makes me laugh or slightly uncomfortable, I know it's ready for the world.
