I am a wife and mother of two. I started my love affair with paper back in 2008 when I made a birthday card for my stepdad. At the time I just had bits and pieces of different cardstock and minimal tools. I fell in love with the idea of creating new color combinations. Gradually I started building and building and building on to my paper supplies. Who knew there were so many different choices!

I went back and forth about opening an Etsy shop for quite a few months. I finally pulled the trigger in February of 2009. A friend of mine was my first test sale at about a month and half in, and my first real sale came about a week after that. How exciting it was to think that someone wanted my little creations. Over the years, I have phased out cards and moved more towards a variety of paper cut outs and cupcake toppers. A few years ago, I introduced tea stained manila tags (which are very therapeutic to make, by the way) and bakers twine. I love using both to make new items, plus they add an additional selection of colors and textures to the palette.

I take extreme care with my creations. Many of my items pertain to wedding and babies. As both of these occasions are extremely special and memorable, I treat every item as if I myself would be using it.

I really enjoy sitting down each day and punching out little shapes. Our family guinea pig, Pepper, is my companion while I work in my sometimes dining room/most of the time craft room.
