I've studied fashion on my own for decades. I used to spend hours looking through fashion magazines, fashion tv, blogs and street style photos. I watched some docs related to fashion and read an entire encyclopedia about fashion. So, as you can see, fashion has been part of me since quite young. As a child, I used to dress my friends from head to toe. I would then organize catwalk sessions at home. Many years later, after having finished a modelling course, I founded a model agency and started creating clothes and selling them. I made a course on make up and some classes on design. I used to attend fashion shows, mainly Modalisboa, and met some new fashion designers.

I used to and still do observe people in search of inspiration and analysing the role of fashion and style (the choice of clothes, hair, etc.) on society. Soon I came to the conclusion that the way we look shows who we are before we even say a word. This way, I think as fashion is a way of expression, it is fundamental to dress and look the way we feel, according to our personality and soul. Nevertheless, due to many different factors, people in general dress not as they like, but as others expect them to. Fashion should be free and, although there are some “rules”, each one is entitled to break them. After all, our style should mirror our personality instead of hiding it.
