First time ordering from this shop, Shipped almost immediately - impressive - although USPS and holiday shipping had the pkg zigzagging across the US forever. I try to only buy goat milk soap and this was a great deal for a good size bar. Haven't tried any of the soaps yet but looking forward to using. thanks

A skin obsession

My name is Kia and I am the creator of Petals Bath Boutique. I've suffered from a skin condition called eczema my entire life. It's always been a very trying struggle because the prescribed ointments and creams from our family doctors' never worked. So, at the age of 17, I began experimenting with my own lotions to give my thirsty skin the moisture it so badly craved.

Years ago, when my youngest son was diagnosed with eczema, my husband and I knew it was time to find an alternative to the steroid creams he was being prescribed. Through our research, we found that the name brand "soaps" and body washes that our family used on a daily basis were in fact NOT soap at all but detergents that were unnecessarily stripping our skin of it's moisture.

Thus began my mission to formulate the perfect recipe for our skin. It's been 15 years and I'm incredibly honored and humbled to say that I have been able to share my skin loving creations with people all around the world! Changing the worlds skin one bar at a time...
