Welcome to Picture Me Smiling Photography and Crafts
Photo cards for every occasion. Original photos and cards hand assembled by photographer Heidi Baikie.
Also available are handcrafted cards by Heidi Baikie. Made with upcycled books, washi tape, tissue paper, card stock--whatever is at hand. Designed to be one of a kind or the kind that you can't get anywhere else, these cards are for multiple occasions.
Cards are designed to make you smile and to be given as gifts. Purchase a frame for the card and your recipient can keep your well wishes on their wall to treasure.
50-100% of the price of items will be donated to Roots Ethiopia, an NGO doing work in the SNPPR.
Original collages and prints of collages are new as of 2019.

I love making enclosure cards--especially if I do a test proof sheet with new papers. -
Tea is a staple in our home and some of the tea bags have quotes or sayings on them. Perfect for enclosure cards. -
One of my favorite photos of me drinking coffee. -
Washi tapes are another fun and quick way to make enclosure cards. -

Heidi bought her first SLR in 2002 and a love affair began. Now using a Nikon DSLR and focusing on macro-photography, Heidi makes all of the photo cards on Picture Me Smiling. Inspired by other artists and learning along the way.

Mick Baikie, an Irish native, became interested in photography after Heidi started her photography. He loves to hike, paddle and ski and brings some kind of camera (Nikon, point and shoot, or GoPro) on all of his adventures.
