I have always loved creating things; from pot holders and beaded necklaces as a child to lamps and refinished furniture presently, if I can think of it, I have to get my hands into it! I have also always wanted to build my interests into a business. With the induction of online selling, I found my niche!
I acquire items from many places, my favorite of which is the curb. I call this curb shopping - heading out on trash night, under the cloak of darkness, hoping to find a treasure, a diamond in the rough, something that I can refinish, remake, revamp, recycle. It keeps items out of the landfill and ,provides people with one of a kind, affordable goods for their homes and gardens. I also enjoy putting items together to make unusual lamps, bird feeders, jewelry holders and other things. When not playing with junk and vintage items, I create a variety of mixed medium art pieces, from canvases to signs on reclaimed lumber to framed mirrors - whatever pops into my brain! I have a quirky sense of humor and am a real free spirited romantic, a bit of a gypsy-souled, cowgirl-hearted, sentimental nut who loves to have fun and refuses to completely grow up, and I think that this shows in a lot of my work.
Before listing an item, I always research its origin and price so that I can provide prospective buyers with as much information as possible and the best price possible. I want your shopping experience to be a positive one and one that you'll want to repeat. It brings me so much joy to know that I have provided an item that has brought someone happiness and enjoyment. I strive to provide the highest level of customer service and quality merchandise.
Many people have asked me where I got the name Pink Cherub Moon. Well, I love pink! It's such a cheerful, sweet color. I also adore cherubs and angels. My mother collected them as well, which makes them extra special to me. I find a great connection to her in these beautiful figures, especially since her passing. The moon came from my wanting to honor my dear friend, "Moonie" who has also passed on. These two remarkable women will always hold a special place in my heart.
If you have any questions about Pink Cherub Moon, please drop me a line. Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
Hugs, Leena
