I love my Janome Memory Craft 6600. I bought it as a treat to myself.
Whilst I mainly machine sew my clothing I do hand sew when it gives a better finish.
No scrap of fabric is thrown away. When too small to make brooches it goes to my textile recycling.
Current season clothing on the hanging rail and works in progress hanging above

Simple, comfortable and easy to wear styles sewn out of Vintage fabric and upcycled clothing .

I've always loved making clothes for myself as I hated to look like everyone else. As a teenager I even used to make clothes for my friends for money but I never really progressed it further.

Study, then career, life and children came and I continued to sporadically sew my own clothes but I wasn't until I was made redundant whilst pregnant with my youngest that I decided to take the plunge to sew and sell.

After success and sales with Molly Moo and Jessica too I turned my hand to sewing clothes once again but his time focusing on clothing for little girls inspired off course by my own girls Jess and Molly.

My vision was to combine simple, comfortable and easy to put on and wear styles sewn out of Vintage fabric and upcycled clothing to make unique, eco friendly special handmade clothing that are machine washable. I make the kind of clothes my little girls like to wear as well as the kind of clothes as a mum I like to buy.

I now also make accessories for little girls and women using mainly upcycled and Vintage fabrics.

I learnt to sew at my mother's knee starting with hand stitched doll's clothes and patchwork cushions. I loved it when I was considered to be old enough to sew using the sewing machine but I still like to hand stitch.
