Polly Purl is an alternative luxury knitwear label.
We offer unconventional hand illustrated fair Isle patterns on classic, wearable knitwear.
Designed and handcrafted in London. Each piece is a limited edition. We care about what you wear and so every effort is made to keep production small and as eco friendly as possible. We think you care about what you wear too and so we aim to provide as much information on where and how it is produced as possible.

The yarns are sourced from Europe, mainly using Shetland Lambswool and Italian Merino. On each listing there is a short description of the yarn and wash care.If you are interested in learning more about the yarns used I have a dedicated page on my website - http://www.pollypurl.co.uk/yarns.php

Every garment is knitted on a domestic knitting machine. The fair isle patterns used are unique and have been created from hand drawn illustrations. My machine is not an automatic machine and creating a garment in this way takes patience and practice.

Care Instructions:
Each piece should come with its own detailed care instructions but here is a brief overview:
With all the piece's they have been made to last, however excessive machine washing will cause wear and tear.
For the best results hand wash, with a specialist detergent or soap flakes. Do not rub. Rinse in warm water. Do not wring
Spin dry with care,
Complete by drying flat and reshape whilst dry. Do not hang to dry.
There may be some colour run, especially dark colours so please be careful the first time you wash them. After the first wash colours should be set..
Do not tumble dry or dry clean any of the garments.

By following the above guidelines your knitwear will keep its shape and should be keeping you warm for many years to come.
