Living in the Midwest as I do offers wonderful opportunities to scout out great vintage finds. I love vintage, and am always on my "search and rescue missions" for those special vintage pieces that deserve new homes.

I believe my affection for vintage started when I was a child spending summers on my grandparents farm here in Illinois. Their old farmhouse was filled with so many old, lovely and interesting things. My sweet hard working grandmother always had an apron on and that's where my shop name originated from.

This world is filled with so many well made and beautiful things that have somehow been forgotten, discarded and set aside. It’s my passion to re-home them to be enjoyed again. I enjoy every part of what it takes to run my Etsy shop...my "search and rescue" missions, the photography and most of all, my customers. So many kind and fun people!
