Artist Statement:
Photography feeds my spirit, and I want my images to honor the beauty found in the natural world. My biggest passion is to photograph animals in their natural habitats, interacting or showing a sense of their complexity as other sentient beings. My hope is that my images will contribute towards a greater understanding, appreciation, and commitment to preserve the wonderful world we live in and keep the amazing creatures we share the Earth with from harm.

My love for photography was reignited when photography went digital. I love the digital world which allows endless opportunity to reinvent or reprocess a photograph, and gives me greater artistic freedom. When I lived in New York, I worked in a graphics center so I not only love being out in the field, but also love the art of the digital darkroom process. I feel the end result contains not only what my eye saw, but also records what my heart felt. As I work on an image, I feel like part of my spirit merges with it, and that each image has a bit of me in it as well.

I cherish that fact that my prints are on walls as far away as Australia and New Zealand. The sense of community with those who share my love of animals and nature has no boundaries.

For printing, I use an professional Canon Pixma Pro 10 with pigment inks which produces a high gamut of vivid colors on archival prints. For larger prints or if I am out in the field, I have a production partner I use for printing - Fine Art America.

If larger sizes are needed, if the original photo wasn't cropped the high resolution of my images allows prints up to 60x40' or if you're interested in canvas prints and I will quote you a price for the size or option you have in mind. Just convo me. Turnaround time would be affected and shipping costs would be also vary for the larger prints.
