My need to create is the same as my need to breathe...it is no wonder....I was raised in the yummy world of crafting, sewing, baking, gardening, painting, and glueing...I never stood a chance...oh my lucky stars!

My sweet Mother taught me to sew at the age of ten. Full on patterns, tricky zippers, buttonholes, heavy old Singer sewing machine...the whole shebang.

But she really marinated me in the world of creativity by giving me old clothes to tear apart and redesign ...simply let my hungry imagination go wild. How blessed was I? And I Was Hooked.

I love working with natural textiles....my hearts goes pitter~patter at the sight of a pile of old fabric, jars of buttons, rolls of velvet, acorns scattered on the grass, dried up stems at the bottom of a wooden crate of pumpkins, jars of paint and spools of thread, Pinterest (31,000 PINS...thank you very much), and any creative person I might meet along my travels.

Sometimes the stressors of life steal my creative energy...so like all creative souls, I retreat, organize and I find that my Mo will find it's Jo....oh joy!
