5 out of 5 starsVery informative book! Its pretty hard to do finger waves on your self, but for those willing to try I've found this book a necessary aide in *truly* getting the hang of this century-old style. Plus, anyone trying to do finger waves is probably also interested in the era itselft, and this book is equally valuable as a piece of ephemera - and you don't even have to worry about tearing the pages!!

5 out of 5 starsI just printed this out and it looks EXTREMELY easy to make, which us great. While there are not cut-out patterns for the dress, there are grids and diagrams which anyone with a measuring tape (or even a flexible ruler) can figure out and make. It is a simple, simple bodice and a gathered skirt--that's pretty much it. No zippers, either, just a neat little opening to allow for pulling it on over the head. The little hat looks simple as well. Can't wait to make this one!
