Ruthfully was opened in 2010 as a way for me to show my work to a wider audience.
I live in a small village on the west coast of Wales called Borth and although it is a perfect place to create, my market is fairly limited, hence Etsy.

I have been a practising artist (yes that's right we never achieve perfection otherwise why carry on!) for many years with a passion for textiles.
I am a print maker turned felt maker .

I love to make new work and am bursting with ideas and so often feel there are not enough hours in the day.
I am totally in awe of wool fibre as a material and love to learn new techniques enabling me to make more ambitious work. I exhibit my work often in the UK.

My Etsy collection I see as the more commercial side of my work practice; my Quirky Bird collection, made to make you smile; teenies, everyone loves little things; needle felt kits devised from my own creature designs and informed by the many classes I have taught; my ever growing range of greetings cards featuring my work.

I live in the UK and am a passionate user of British wool fibre. My cards are all printed locally on 100% recycled paper and are packaged in biodegradable bags. I use recycled packaging to post off my work....these are all important issues for me and for making my practice sustainable.
