3 out of 5 starsThe side table itself is beautiful and after having consistently looked for a simple, elegant side table, this was the only one I found. Having said that, when it arrived two of the corners did not have enamel on them (I ordered this in matte black) and were visibly silver. I reached out to Sawyer who then sent enamel for me to apply myself. After spending $325 on this table, having to fix this mistake was very frustrating and not what I expected. The table also shipped well past the estimated date; I bought it on January 27 and it arrived March 17. Sawyer never messaged to let me know it would be delayed so instead I frequently e-mailed him to determine when it would actually arrive. I think if you can go to his shop to purchase a piece, you should. But doing this online was somewhat awful.

3 out of 5 starsI have mixed feelings about my experience. The table is great; it looks wonderful and I love the vintage modern aesthetic. The wood treatment really brings out its character. However, initially when it shipped, it arrived cracked and bowed. While it may have been the freight carrier’s fault, it was wrapped only in bubble wrap. I would have liked to see some Styrofoam or something that would help keep it more structurally sound. The seller replaced the table top free of charge, so it was not a problem. However, throughout the whole process, the seller wasn't very forthcoming with information. I understand it is a handmade piece and it takes time to make, but I would like for the seller to have provided more information, first to set my expectations as to when it would be complete and, then when it arrived damaged, what the process would be to remedy that.
