3 out of 5 starsThe camera was extremely dirty and full of dust. I understand it's an antique, but there is no reason for the dust .Also, the nicotine smell that came as soon as we opened the box was unbearable. We put the box in the outside trash can immediately. We had to leave the camera out in an opened porch for a few days and wash it several times to get the smell out .

Frequently asked questions
Do you offer local pick-up?
If you can visit our studio in the Cedar Falls, Iowa, area, we would be happy to have you pick up our work in person. Please contact us, and we can waive shipping fees and arrange a time.
How do you ship your work?
All orders will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail within 3-5 business days of order and receipt of payment. A tracking number will be sent to you once the package is in transit.
Faster and international shipping options are available; please contact us for a quote.
Can I return a vintage camera if it doesn't work?
We do not accept returns. Cameras are fun to collect... whether they sit on a shelf or are used, we want to share that joy with others. There is no guarantee that any camera will actually work, even if the film is available. We have been shooting film professionally for decades, and analog photography with vintage cameras is a gamble... Mechanisms get touchy when unused for years, parts deteriorate, and cameras are often stored in less than ideal conditions. Unfortunately, we cannot put the time and expense into testing each camera, though we note in the listing if we did use it at some point. If you intend to use a camera, contact us before buying. We'll take another look at it and give you an honest opinion about its potential usability.
Why are your photographs more expensive than others?
We have been working as professional photographers for two decades and take great care and pride in our work. All of our work is printed using the highest quality, archival materials, we do not sell inkjet or dye-sub prints. These are REAL photographs printed in our own darkroom or at a professional lab that we have worked with for years. Quality matters.
What is special about your hand-printed B&W photographs?
Straight out of the darkroom, HPA's ("hand-printed by artist") are our prized prints that have the feel and look no digital image can duplicate. We spend hours producing each silver gelatin print from start to finish, and we use only the best fine art materials. Our small, medium, and large format films and fiber papers have been selected from years of experience and are those that we feel work best with our style of photography. The prints are limited editions, and many are one-of-a-kind due to special techniques we use in the darkroom or camera. The prints are presented in a hand-cut mount and mat presentation that is ready for a frame to match your decor.
