Announcement    Thank you for stopping by Sarah Ann Doll Shop. I make clothes for the 18" Doll, and use American Girl Dolls to fit the clothes. The clothes are made with the same attention to detail that I make children's clothes. My children have many of these designs in their dolls clothes wardrobes, and they are still going strong, after countless washings - mostly accidental :).

All the fabric I use has been prewashed, all nescearry seams have been serged, and items have been inspected for imperfections in both my work and in the fabric.

Both my 10 year old and 12 year are asked what they think of a new design, and I take their thoughts into consideration. My 12 year old is a fashionista - her favorite thing is to put on fashion shows, and my 10 year old just loves to play with dolls in general, and dresses them for the occassion. My youngest is actively involved in choosing colors, materials and clothing for the outfits. With outfits she puts together, I do say that she has designed them.

I do try to keep to wearable clothes and I also keep within the CPSIA regulation regarding safety for toys - I don't add jewelry, snaps, metalic fabric or other items that have not passed lead testing. Shoes that are being sold with outfits have been tested.
