Hello!

Welcome to my little online world of illustrated gifts very much inspired by the world around me. Living in Oxford means that I'm next door to lush fields and natural old woodland, as well as the beautiful 'dreaming spires' a short trip away in the city centre.

I also love to look at views further afield. Taking inspiration from photos as well as my own travels, I try to take my artwork everywhere. From desert vistas to Nordic fjords. Bustling capital cities to coastal clifftops. I enjoy painting anything really, animals, plants, people going about their lives and flower still lifes. But my work is grounded by the environment and this is always what I'm drawn to return to.

In 2011 I first launched my Etsy shop. At the time most of my work was illustration on commission for various publications and I wanted a little outlet for selling personal work. I eventually put the shop on a long hiatus to concentrate on other things as I decided that I'd rather wait until I had more time and could really commit to selling.

In February 2020 I relaunched the shop with a brand new collection of prints (plus a few oldies from the back catalogue!) I've loved making these pieces and new things are being added all the time. They are in my personal style; concentrated colours and expressive brush strokes to show atmosphere and the personality of a particular place or moment in time.

Mostly I work in gouache paint but also occasionally other drawing materials, pencil, oil pastels etc. I'm currently selling prints, greeting cards and bookmarks at the moment but can't wait to be able to increase the size of wall art I can offer and also to expand into other illustrated products and art gifts when I can. There is lots more to come!
