My name is Satu Kallio and I'm proud to be a Finnish designer and a citizen of Helsinki, a capital of Finland and World Design Capital 2012! :)

Satu Kallio Design is all about casual, beautiful and durable high quality scandinavian design. It was founded on the simple principles of everyday aesthetics and minimalistic scandinavian design spiced up with stylish details. I believe well designed and made everyday items can make your day.

These purses, clutches and bags are designed and made with love and true passion. All materials and fabrics are chosen carefully. Satu Kallio Design products are not just any regular bags, they really are made of unique design, high quality materials and workmanship.

Q U A L I T Y :


+ All products are made and kept in a non-pet and non-smoking studio.

+ All items are carefully handmade from the very beginning (designing, cutting etc.) to the end (finishing, packing etc.). Handmade products are made with love and passion and in a way each product is unique, as two products can never be 100% the same when done manually. Each product has the unique hand print and feel of an artist’s work.

+ I prefer metal zippers because of their durability. Metal zippers can feel little stiff at first, but they will loosen up in use.

+ I reinforce all the important stress points with multiple stitching to make sure the item is strong enough to carry all your stuff and will serve you in use for long time.

+ Please read very carefully the description about the item (size, material, pockets, fastening, length of the straps etc.) and take a good look at the photos (remember that you can zoom them in). I try my best to describe and photograph the items as they are. The goal is to make you feel that you know exactly what you are going to order.
