Catch A Dream

ShadowsWolf's Shop Announcement

The legend of the Native American dreamcatcher varies somewhat from tribe to tribe, but the basic theme or intention was to allow good dreams to slip through the web and into the sleeper during the night while the bad dreams were caught in the web and would be perished at morning light. The Lakota Legend has the opposing belief that the web will catch your good ideas and the bad ones will go through the hole.

Traditional dreamcatchers can be found in lots of places and I'm not looking to displace them. I believe that everybody has dreams however and sometimes we need a little help achieving them. Not all dreams are traditional so I create dreamcatcher designs by weaving them from thread and using natural gems, beads of wood and plastic, or found items. Thus I create designs for all walks of life that will fit into any home or setting. Some of us are running from bad dreams and some of us are reaching for better dreams. No matter what I bet we can create something to help you get closer to your dreams.

I'm proud to say that every single dreamcatcher I create is made by me with my own hands.

Additionally I am happy to make silk flower bouquets for weddings or decoration. Silk flowers long forever, are lighter, and can be purchased out of season for a much lower price.
