Sometimes simply inventions and plain designs work best, but the when I put this shop together my idea was to make things opposite to simple and plain, something that's funky, sparkly, different, totally unique and full of handmade details. Of course made from scratch by me. I want to create something that combines my creativity and craftsmanship but also I want to give all the time in the world to my designs, as time is the most valuable thing that can be given. Each garment born from an inspiration, like an art really. There's a story behind every piece. Everybody needs to feel special, the least I can offer to you is something unique, that you can wear knowing there's no other piece like it in the world.

Also I care for environment. I'm terrified by the fact how much usable goods are just thrown away nowadays, also I'm fed up with almost disposable clothes that stores are full of, let alone someone somewhere has worked long hours in wretched conditions just to make those garments that will be thrown away with no time. All that together just doesn't make sense at all. I try to create something that will have a different journey. I dreamed about an own clothing label since I was teenager, but always crashed to the fact that I don't want to make new trash to the world full of trash already. Until I started to make new stuff out of others garbage and other recycled materials. I gather old rags from second hand shops and turn them into high quality products that are supposed to last. It's powerful feeling to realize how many of the items that please my eye most, are actually made out of others unwanted stuff. Glad to be involved to this movement!

I love using leather and denim as they both only get better with time. Model of an old leather jacket or jeans from 80s can be totally out of time and some seams may have been ripped open or other minor damage have been occurred, but the material is still perfectly useable. And after all only time and wear can give materials that authentic, inimitable worn out look!

Skills, creativity and time are the things I can give to clothing industry, so I want to put that all in each item I make, nothing less. That combined with carefully selected high quality secondhand materials makes what Dream Warriors is all about.

Well that would have been a perfect finish to this story, but maybe a word or two about my background too. I studied to become a graphic designer, but my desire for handwork and crafts won and here I am.

I'm self taught as a seamstress. I come from a little town in the middle of nowhere and when I was a teen the only clothing stores over there were a supermarket's clothing rack and a mainstream youth clothes shop, so no any chance to get anything individual to wear. But my mom had a sewing machine, and that is where this all started. I have opened the seams of piles of clothes to see how they are made of and made tons of rags for myself. It took a while to get here where I am now, and I'm still learning new things all the time, but I'm happy to say that any minute or hour or night I have spend sewing has not been time wasted!
