As I mentioned before, I've been a single mom my sons entire life. I got started selling online out of necessity. I lost a great job due to the events surrounding 9/11 and going from good money to peanuts in unemployment I had to find a way to supplement that income. Couple that with the fact that I love to learn new things and my online business came about.

Initially I started on the other "E" venue, and was there for 5 years. Selling new items first, then as that marketplace opened up China I could no longer compete with the manufactures, so I had to change the way I did business. I began with odds and ends that I could buy for a reasonable price and turn a great profit. Then I found I had a passion for vintage clothing. So, that became my main staple...all sorts of vintage fashion. And that passion rings true to this day.

I was in a National magazine for my business, Lifetime, the February of 2004 issue. I have an entirely new respect for models and actors. While I enjoyed my 15 minutes of fame, somewhat, I have very little desire to have someone hover over me with makeup and a brush ever again :)

One of my vintage dresses, a Louis Estevez, was on display at the CFDA's IMPACT exhibit in Boca Raton, FL. Much to my surprise the dress was in an actual print ad for Estevez!
