Hi there! I'm a bellydancer and barre fitness instructor based in Wamego, KS who is full of sass and sparkles! I started bellydancing almost 20 years ago while studying dance at Kansas State University. I've always struggled to fit into the mold of modern dance and ballet, and immediately felt like my body was “at home” with the movements of Middle Eastern dance. The movements felt more natural and everything about it is just more body friendly.

Since that first taste, I've performed at many local events in Manhattan, KS and in Kansas City, and have been able to travel all over the US to learn from masters of the craft.

I've been teaching for 12 years and have developed a program called STAR Barre, a form of cross-training for bellydancers that combines barre fitness with belly dance to help create stronger dancers. I'm passionate about helping my students discover their inner sparkle by getting to know how their bodies work and getting in touch with their inner creativity.

As a mom of three young kids, I get how hard it is to find "me-time" and how women can feel disconnected from their bodies and just themselves in general. I have first hand experience in using bellydance as a way to rediscover who you are outside of your children and pull this in to teaching methods.
