Hi! We are the Sock Monkey Emporium and started creating animals from socks in July 2010. We are based in Lancaster in the UK and ship worldwide.

We are 1 of only 6 UK members of The Artisan Group, a juried craft community based in the US. Through my membership of TAG our business cards will be gifted to celebrities at Luxury Gift Lounges prior to the Golden Globes and The Academy Awards.

We have also been lucky enough to gift US actress Jessica Alba 2 personalised sock cats for her daughters. Another recipient of a personalised sock cat is Food Network Presenter and Chef Giada de Laurentiis.

This April we will be adding mini sock mascots' to TAG gift bags gifted to 30 celebrity new and expectant mums. This mums include Beyonce, Uma Thurman, Hilary Duff, Jessica Simpson, Sienna Miller, Lisa Loeb, Alyson Hannigan and Kourtney Kardashian.

We will be gifting members of the Press at the forthcoming Gift Lounge to honour nominees for the MTV Movie Awards. 10 mini sock monkeys will be distributed.

In the shop you will find creations made by myself and also the opportunity to purchase a custom creation.

Sock creations are not recommended as toys and should not be treated as such.

They are made from a brand new pair of socks and include the use of felt to add features.

Sock creations are stuffed with toy standard polyfibre stuffing.
